Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, J’Lynn grew up surrounded by both the constant movement of the city and nature. An exuberant burst of energy from a young age she’s always been inspired by the arts with encouragement every step of the way. J’Lynn’s love for artistry has been embodied in various ways from dancing, to ceramics, and most things in between. Her academic career and extracurriculars have given her the opportunity to explore different realms of creative expression though her heart stays true to the passion of painting. J’Lynn has now completed her B.S. in Psychology with an minor in Painting at the Illustrious Howard University. Moved by her research and presentations in an Creative Arts Experiential Lab in undergrad, her matriculation will continue in New York City; where she will begin her studies for a M.A. in Art Therapy in the Fall of 2024. She is currently working in Manhattan at the Museum of Modern Art as a membership associate.
